VOTO Mobile is a fast-growing social enterprise with offices in Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, Zimbabwe, India, Canada and the U.S. Our services enable organizations to engage traditionally difficult-to-reach populations through their mobile phones. We specialize in interactive voice calls (including IVR), SMS, and unstructured supplementary service data (USSD) in local languages, instantly reaching across distance, language, and literacy barriers.
Our international connections allow us to call every phone on the planet and our growing network of local infrastructure allows us to simultaneously push and receive content at a high volume, achieving national scale quickly and at less than 5% of the cost of traditional consumer engagement. Data collected through VOTO can be accessed in real-time through our web-based platform. In the last 2 years, our product has been used by more than 500 organizations in 40 countries to reach 6 million people.
At VOTO, we believe in “more voices, better choices.” By engaging consumers on their mobile devices, our partners can ensure that the voices of the underheard (e.g., rural women, minorities, people living in conflict zones) are amplified and that consumers play a part in defining their own development through real-time feedback loops.

- Share the results of our data collection within the SDG community on common data platforms.
