We need data to hold governments, companies, and people to account and meet the Global Goals and commitments they have made. We have already made great progress by cutting extreme poverty in half. This is thanks to poor countries boosting their economies at home as well as rich countries increasing aid.

Now we need to get going, keep track of how we are doing, and charge towards 2030 with the vision of what our world could be. Partnerships are at the heart of delivering the Global Goals. The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data brings together governments, international organizations, companies, civil society groups, and statistics and data communities who represent all sectors of society and all regions of the world, dedicated to achieving the Global Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

"Our problems are man-made, therefore they may be solved by man. And man can be as big as he wants. No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings."

John F. Kennedy
